Additional Tips:
- Always do a test print when using a new substrate or material to ensure you achieve your desired results
- Remove protective plastic coating from blanks (if any) before pressing
- Use a lint roller to remove dust from the surface of your substrate. Just because you can’t SEE it, doesn’t mean it’s not there. 😉
- Pre-press fabric for 3-5 seconds to eliminate moisture
- Use a pressing pillow for apparel and other fabric blanks
- Be SUB safe and follow all equipment safety precautions
Equipment Safety Precautions:
- Remove freshly sublimated objects with silicone gloves or tongs to prevent personal injury and avoid burns
- Allow products to cool before handling as they will be EXTREMELY hot once removed from oven or heat press
- Work in a well ventilated area
- Do not leave heat press equipment or convection ovens unattended while in use
- Turn off equipment when not in use
- Refer to the manufacturer's instruction manual as required
